Today my Aunt was talking to me about my being gay.

She asked me if I kissed other boys, and I told her yes.

At first she looked confused that I said yes, and then she looked relly sad.

I felt bad and I wish she would not have asked me.

I also wish I could have simply lied and told her “Of course not! That is disgusting!”

But I couldn’t bring myself to lie and tell her no…

Maybe it’s just me… But I really am confused. So many people seem to be content with so little. One night stands and fooling around are the only things they’re after. What I want so desperately is a committed relationship-one that is long term, but it just doesn’t seem possible when every guy you see disagrees. Maybe they are in a phase, where they are still experimenting. I don’t remember going through this phase… Maybe I am just not there yet. I don’t think anything less of people who do simply seek one night stands, but I won’t lie and say I understand either. I hope that I do find someone else who wants a committed relationship, but also hope it is what I really do want. Maybe these people who don’t want one had one-and it was not what they expected. Maybe it will happen to me too, and then I’ll understand for sure.
